Connaught Cars

What happened to the company that resurrected the historic name and I think were going to produce a V10 and hybrid car? I believe they were/are in Wales and were getting Welsh development money but have they ever produced a car for the market?

I remember seeing them at the Autosport Show or somewhere similar quite a few years ago and I was taken by it's squared off styling as it was different and quite compact and the V10 was intriguing.

I remember seeing the new car at the 2006 Motor Show. Then I forgot all about it until the other day when I saw it again on display at the Festival of Speed. Nothing seems to have happened in the intervening period, and the car does not look that good - like some kind of home made kit car if I am being unkind!

Looks bulkier than I remember it to be but I could have been something like a junior Bristol.
