Just a little question, I've had convertibles on and off for years and after being fried to a crisp early on I realised that hats and suncream were required. I'm not a big hat wearer and my one hat (Yorkshire county cricket hat) would last about 2 seconds once you hit 30mph, which meant I ended up getting a baseball cap, which meant I looked like a git. Though it does work.

I did get another one recently and (hopefully) it's a slightly more stylish version of a peaked fishermans cap, but I could still look like a git. Any personal favourites that keep the sun off your bonce, keep the sun out of your eyes, won't blow off and avoids you lookin like a git.

Obviously Chim drivers need not respond getmecoat

Baseball cap for me. Perhaps you should try one of these;

It's a baseball cap for me too.

I find that angling the front peak downwards reduces the likelihood of the wind catching it, and have covered a few hundred miles without having to do a u-turn

I do have the option of tying it to the roll bar/head rest, but believe this would look a bit daft rotate

Excellent, so we have the golfist look, a Stig, care in the community and John McCririck!

I tried on one of those trendy little peaked cap type things in the shop and it was a little small, looked like a beret so I looked like a tt.

I did consider one of these

But decided I'd either look like a Happy Monday or an angler, neither a good look

I'm taking back my stig helmet suggestion for this.

I think you'll find it ticks all the boxes.

Forget hats, if you own a Griffith, the full Elvis wig complete with quiff should float your boat....

Or perhaps the tight curled afro is more your style:

If you are of a certain age, then perhaps a full grey with matching moustache?

If you are set on a hat, how about this?

A mate of mine had one of those balaclavas and decided to wear some reflective cycling glasses underneath, looked like a cross between spiderman, a terrorist or some kind of sex offender. We couldn't let him go out like that.

Please someone photoshop the Princess whatever the fk her name is photo into a Chim. I'd say Boxster but no one has ever seen a Boxster with its roof down
