Ok, so I know this has probably been done to death but all four boots on my T350 need replacing, probably tomorrow before a weekend away.

Stock suspension on spiders currently but likely to be replacing with nitron/eibach shortly.

Questions:

1. 225x35x18 & 235x40x18 or
225x35x18 & 255x35x18

Does the later create more undrsteer or rub on the arches?

2. What Tyres?

Was looking at Goodyear f1 asyms but the new asymmetric 2 isn't available in 225x35 and not sure about the idea of mixing asymmetric 1 front and asymmetric 2 rear.

Other options: Pilot Sports, Toyo T1R? Need something road based but ocassional track use.

I found that the 255/35x18 rubbed less than 235/40x18 on full compression as the diameter is slightly less for the 255 tyre .
I also just fitted a pair of Asym 1's on the front and will be happy to fit the Asym 2 rears when my current Sessantas (255 size) wear out. I had to remove the front 225/40x18 sessantas as they rubbed too much on the front wheelarch (outer front corners below headlamp access panels and inner upper arch on my T350C) though others seem to have slighlty larger wheelboxes and can get away with this size. Mine is one of first T350Cs produced and I think they adjusted the body molds over the years to address early issues... So far the asym 1 fronts have been good in the soaking wet and baking dry and seem to have a slightly more front end bite than the sessantas (though that could be the profile change).

I run Assym 1 front and Assym 2 rear - as rears needed replacing, fronts didn't.

Seem fine so far. I upgraded to 255 rears also, much more grip.

I recently put on Toyo R1R's front 235/40/18 and back 255/35/18 and I am very happy with them. I do not use them on track a lot but even in the wet they seem to handle quite well.

I'm running BF Goodrich G-Force profiler 2's F&R on my T350 and TBH wish I'd discovered them sooner as they are great.
