Long story but i had a letter from them a while ago saying i'd parked in one of their car parks, overstaued etc.
Long and the short is that i had sold the car about 8 months earlier but due to the DVLA/auctioneer?new owner messing up it was still in my name when it was parked in said car park.
Now i have written a couple of letters to these clowns and on two occasions "my appeal has not been successful". I know i'm in the right and physically couldn't have commit the heinous offence i have been accused of!
I got another letter the other day threatening bayliffs, CCJs and Court.....really can't be bothered to write again, can't put things more clearly to then, t
ts.
Anybody else had run ins with these jokers?

Have you got any written proof that you sold the car (receipt from auctioneer / sales docket etc) that you could send to these jokers? Hassle, I know, but probably easiest in the long run?

Interestinly "i" (it was may THIS YEAR) got caught speeding in said car...Thames Valley were no problem and after i wrote and explained just forwarded the FPN to the appropriate party
In my job it's an occupational hazard.
I've had eight in the last two years and ignored all of them. The usual ream of letters, about eight in all each time - from "solicitors", "debt collection" agencys, "baliffs" etc etc.
Ignore, ignore, ignore, Ignore, ignore, ignore.
I've kept all the paperwork just for fun.

3 letters in total, last one threatening 'possible' court action and 'may' get legal firms involved...
Nothing since about 2 weeks ago. I was a little dubious about advice here at first but it's a no brainer; kick your feet up, son!
