In my view, although they were in the wrong to block your path, it wouldn't excuse you from damaging their car.

The thing to do would have been to call the non-emergency police number.

stupid stupid.... blocking access to the highway can be dealt with by police and towing... what you did was wrong and if it was my car and you did it to my car you would be paying the big in total and get a bking even though i would be in the wrong for blocking you.

Tell me how on earth you think its going to go 50/50 when you hit a stationary car?

you hit it and kept moving to cause the damage, it doenst matter how badly parked they are, you hit them with no driver in the car it will go 100% against you.
