The weather was nice, and id recently found a great (mostly empty) road for action shots, so I rang nathan and off we went.

Cheers for looking, comments welcome as always.

Like I said, with digital, pressing the button is only the beginning... There's something around the spoiler/rear screen area that smells Photoshoppy... have you tried feathering?

hahaha. Busted. A rushed job with the selection path... thats all. A slight motion blur to accent movement was added. Will redo when I get a sec. I noticed it too but only when i set it as a wallpaper... curse you hawkeye.

Heck, just photograph it from another car - much quicker and easier!

Okey dokey - next time try more mph and/or slower shutter speed for that authentic EVO look. I'm guessing 60mph and 1/60 or 1/125 might work, but don't use too long a lens or you'll get camera-shake. It's easy to say but stick close and see if you can use 50mm.
Or maybe you did all that already, in which case I'll bugger off!

lol. 1/60th at about 40mph. First go at action shots. Tried 1/50 but too much shake which wasnt apparent til i got home and checked them on screen.

Tried fill flash to sharpen edges with slower shutter but my in built flash lacked the oomph to get the results i needed.

Practice makes perfect.

Here is the finished article:

I scrapped my original motion blur plans and just added a tiny bit with a layer mask on the far left of the image.

Cheers.
