Plastic Trim in footwell

Driving my T350 yesterday, a plastic cover for the electrics in the drivers footwell came loose, probably caused by my work shoes as opposed to sensible drivng footwear. I only had a quick look before i put the car to bed til the weekend, but couldn't see how it would re-attach. Another problem is the carpet in that area is not the best. It reguklarily comes away from the trim near the door and is a bit saggy.

Anybody got any quick tips on how it should be, to save me wasting too much of my valuable weekend driving time.

On mine there is a flat trim piece held in by velcro. It is a pain unless you have it in just the right position and the control boxes behind it can pop it out.
