Look - evidence the sun was out!!

In the end I was pushed for time and only did one side. I would like some feedback as to whether this helped though...

Hotty and I did some epic ECU-swapping: we've got a project going to optimise an ECU for his car... so far we have it running like a bag of spanners below 3000rpm and after that it's like being thrown off a cliff biggrin
The ECU from my car seemed to give the best overall response so I'm going to change a couple of resistors on the test unit and see where that leads...

I think I brought the sun with me....I had a great run up and the only spots of rain I saw were literally as I arrived in the car park.

Wedgeinald II looking very shiny after the Valet man had worked his magic!

I just heard from NaCl - he finished off the other side and put it back in the car and it's all running great!

Nice to keep another wedge running on the road....

There seem to be some companies taking the p155 with these ECUs, supposedly 'remanufacturing' them at some ludicrous price.

Last such one I opened looked completely untouched to me: at the very least I'd want to see new replacement capacitors throughout - but not a sign.
Probelem is, some of those series of capacitors haven't been made for years so any direct replacements would have to be old stock and therefore as questionable as those already fitted.
