M I L light stays on.

Just starting my engine after a complete rebuild, it starts and runs but the MIL light stays on with the buzzer sounding. Is this indicating that there is a problem with one of the sensors or is it something else. The last time I looked at the ECU fault log it was clear but it could have developed a fault. Any ideas?

Could be a number of reasons. You need to get the computer connected!

The air sensor or what ever its called will cause mill light if not connected

so will the lamda sensors or any one of dozens of faults.

Connect the computer and see what it says!
