Garage has let me down once more, saying the 420 would be ready for the weekend he has come up with another excuse not to be. Have a few drinks for me. Pity couldnt meet up though will make the next event.

What does it need?

It had a wire circuit problem and faulty injection system so we decided to put a Carb on it. So ive just left it to the guy at the garage to fix. Hes had the car four months, and ive let him know about today months in advance. Thing is hes just doing bits when hes not busy, though he did promise the car for last week. Let down again saying that he needs some specifc bolts for the mounting of the carb!! I aint great with mechanics, so what do i do...

Sorry to hear of your problem - especially as it is with Andy who I put you on to
He unfortunately treats these "2nd cars" as non essential and left to the back of the queue

With where you have got to now with Andy - and missing the excellent BBWF
then you have to give him the ultimatum of finish it very soon or you move it

I do have someone else in mind who is local, knows TVRs and won't mess you about

Call me for more info and to discuss off forum

He has promised me the car for next week, though i know friday he will break up for weeks due to the school holiday. I will give him until Thursday then pull the car if not ready.

Great weekend sorry to say for you Wayne
complete with singing Elvis Wedger

A few were suffering badly at breakfast (those that made it!!)

Whilst I may look like it, I didn't eat your Hog
although with quite a few not coming due to the rain in the morning
there was plenty of food let over.

It was wet setting off but arrived with 4 other wedges at 1pm with our roofs off
and ended with a sunburnt face Sat evening
