I have just been given a pair of the above, i have googled them and they seem to be decent speakers, a bit old now but ok?

Anyone have some or have any other thoughts?

Also they have connections for both high and low frequency, which should i use to connect to my hi-fi?

I've had a pair of P4s for a few years now have found they need careful positioning to get the best from them. With reference to the high and low freq connections you can drive them separately (bi-wired) or if you have just one set of cables running from your amp then there should be some metal connector strips joining the two sets of connections together. If they are missing then just use a small piece of speaker cable to join them together.
