Hey guys,
Had this car since the end of April and i love it overall. Got it for a bargain price with 12 months mot, just a shame its a 5 door really....

It is a completely standard example other than the coilovers (fitted before i bought it) and the smoked hella indicators, it also has a few 16v trinkets (the half smoked rear lights, bee sting aerial etc).

Since i've had it i have:
Given it a service (filters & fluids)
Fitted a leather corrado steering wheel
new oem golf ball gear knob
gti grill badge
Clutch release bearing

I have plenty of other little jobs lined up for it over the coming months aswell to get it tip top.

Anyways i will let the photos do the talking.....

Thanks for getting that far :P

Very nice car. Big fan and GTi 8v, have had 2 in the past.

But what is the thing with green. I never saw the point of it with tornado red smile

130 bhp just doesn't mean a thing in modern terms, because that cars feels some much faster..

My favourite colour for a mk2 golf. But really not keen on the wheels, they look like they came off a lowly 1.6 driver or similar.

Indeed, a nice set of BBS split rims for the summer.

Thanks for the kind comments guys. I do like the wheels but i am thinking of sourcing some bbs ra's like it had from the factory or maybe some Porsche teledials (although i know the ph masses wont like that idea wink) and keeping the g60's for winter use as it is used daily to drive 60 miles.

Lovely car. I had an early mk2 8 valve and loved the thing. Remember it being quite low geared and red-lining surprisingly easily in 5thbiggrin

Very nice car mate! I learnt to drive in one of these when I was 10, an 8valve 5 door big bumper car, single headlight conversion, lowered all round with E30 BBS rims, have a real soft spot for these so very nice smile
