Just for Podie!!

Well after much encouragement (read cruel and viscious taunting ) from Podie. I am finally forced to get a sports exhaust. I have just found a huge crack in the front of the exhaust, which is playing havok with my economy.

Unfortunately this means I may have to leave the car down South and come back down next weekend.

Bad news! Just spoken to Tim @ACT JP have a pretty big waiting list for an exhaust. 2 weeks or so.

Looks like it's out with the welder at the moment. Oh well AVOs here I come. The Exhaust will have to wait until I next come down. Sorry Pod.

PS I'm off to visis a mate in Chelmsford as soon as the car is back on the road. Exhaust and mirror allowing as the mirror just fell off last night. Fancy a ?

I take it you never want to take it on a trackday then as I very much doubt a pair of tailpipe insert silencers will get you down to acceptable levels...

No baffles..? Mine are still in...!

I was advised on the V6 not to remove them, as you can lose power... I understand Psychobert has been advised of something similar...

Ah, well, never mind. Not planning on any track days until I can qualify for some sensible exhaust.

At least it will still be quiter than my mini. I am young and when I grow old and boring I will put some baffles in.
