The horse and cart ride is nice but at E40 plus the expected tip E10-15 its not all that - instead go on any of the canal cruises which is under E10 for 2 you see some stunning sights and very good commentatry.
The second link is to the Zot Brewry tour - really goodE4.50 and includes a beer. I'd highly sugest that you try all three in the range - Blonde/single filtered, Brun double filtered and then a third triple filtered cannot remember its name but those three will have you glowing.
Oh if you have never bee there before food is very expensive... not just the main square but everywhere, nights out we had and starters were best part of £20 mains £20-30 and beers are £7+ for 250cl. One night I had 2 beers only and two courses with my wife E120, the following night it was even more. So be prepared.

Make sure you don't go down too fast as by the sounds of it car will be fully laiden luggage fuel occupants.
Brakes will become less and less effective you could boil the brake fluid so it might be worth while changing that for piece of mind.
Also how worn are your discs?? It would be that hard to temper a set of discs going down those mountains they a fuberd then.
Remember engine breaking to help - even first gear.
Last bit of advice stop lots and get out as the driver will see little of it S he's focusing hard on the drive.

Davos to Stelvio. From personal experience, pick any road in that area and you won't go far wrong. And the Stelvio pass is overrated, the road down the south side of the mountain towards Italy is much better. Hope your children like scary mountain roads!
I've driven it, spectacular, but so are most roads in the area. I thought it looked more spectacular than it drove, a little too tight and narrow to really enjoy it as much as some others. But it's worth a drive none-the-less.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
