550/600hp, 1200kg... what do you think?!

Thought I had to post just to see if anyone likes the idea of my new project... or simply thinks I'm losing the plot!
Been looking for a car to replace my 400hp 1360kg Skyline for a while; having previously been down the TVR route... ok I haven't owned a Cerb, but it did tick quite a few boxes!
Been looking at Supra's for a while, but a standard twin-turbo or 'BPU' tuned one just wouldn't be enough to be honest! A single turbo Supra was an option I really did consider, but for the right one would be nearly £10k on top of the price of my 'Datsun'... with the Supra being a heavier car too... I wasn't sure that was the right way to spend my money!
I really like manual C5 Corvette's and also considered one, but GM LSV8 tuning is quite expensive to be honest...
Right; so after looking at my options I have decided on going down a slightly different and controversial route!
Just bought myself a '93 RX7 FD twin turbo...
Out came the engine and box...
2JZGTE engine, R154 box, GTX3582R turbo to go in...
Looking forward to other peoples opinions on this! It went down great on the Rotary Owners forum!

Opnion = cool.

Edit: I should say, only not cool because I'm not much into jap and I know your car is going to have one of those square electric mirror adjuster buttons in it. Every jap car used to have one of them.

Just been reading the thread on Jamie P's Supra... that is just amazing!
How I wish I wasn't a 'skint northerner' :-) I can't wait for my engine, box and Supra subframe to arrive!
