300 BHP and 4 doors

I can't find any way of forming a list of cars that fill this criteria other than just asking. I'm looking to spend upto 10K on a 4 door car with real performance(300 BHP+). So far I'm considering the Mercedes C32 or a Volvo s60 R. Anyone got any other ideas?

E36 M3 is a bit too old really, the interior of the audi's I just find too dull. Might have a look at the Jag. Also a mate has an M5 so can't just copy him. Where would be the fun in that, "you picked a very nice car." Reply "As did you" Need something a bit different and understated, hence C32 and S60 R. But any more surgestions are welcome. Off to look at Jaguars.

Some sort of Bentley Mulsanne. A Maserati. Actually, you'd probably do better to let us know a bit more. How old? Economy? Service costs?

Is the 4.2 XJR the aluminium one, so no rust issues I guess. Definately one up on the Merc. Just not sure if it's just too "old man" for me. But it is newer and better spec. Have to see which one puts the biggest smile on my face. Still open to any more suggestions.

Up to 10 years. 25 MPG ish. Sevice costs are what they are and wont be cheap on a super saloon, I know this. It will be used most days, doing up to 10K per year. Older cars can be fun, like a Maserati but it would be a pile of rust up in Scotland within weeks.

The red one on the end has over 300hp. I think the guy did it on purpose though just to annoy people. It has Red Cross charity stickers in the rear window.

As someone already mentioned, an M5 or XJR sounds ideal. If not, then how about these:

BMW 545i

W210 Mercedes E55 AMG

W211 Mercedes E500

I like the idea of an S60 R as well, but the Volvo 4 wheel drive system isn't all that great in terms of reliability.
