What is in the passenger wing.

I wanted to get a wire from the fuse box ro the front by the lights, so I thought I would drill a hole just infront of the fuses. I drilled a 10mm hole, 10mm below the fibreglass is black plastic, do I removed the side repeater and about 20mm below is black plastic again so what ever is in the wing is about 70 mm thick, I am assuming its to do with the heater. I don't have AC so does anyone have an idea as to what this is in the passenger wing.

It's your heater blower/fan.

Look behind the carpet to the left of the battery and you should see it??
