Alarm is annoying the neighbours.

Hope all you Cerbie folk are well.

The Cerbera has been having a few alarm issues. It seems to revel in going off at any given moment. I'm using the car probably bi-daily at the moment so its not hissy-fitting through lack of use. The only theory I've dreamt up is that perhaps the big gaping hole between the window and door seal is letting wind in and rippling the seatbelts, triggering the motion sensors. Is this a plausible theory of genius or plain stupidity?

Any other ideas? Thanks.

Can you turn off the interior sensors?

Its fine on the passenger side. One out of two ain't bad.

Plus it means I can smell the interior as I approach it, which can only be a plus.

Might be the siren on it's way out. I'm pretty sure you can disable the interior sensor. Have a look in the owners handbook:

Thanks for that. The manual says hold down the fob button for four seconds, though in typical TVR fashion, there's no indication of whether the car needs to be locked or unlocked to make this change. I'll do it in the morning.

Yeah..think u gotta hold the button in for 4 Secs & the indicators flash 3 times instead of twice.Try it with someone inside,if it doesn't go off you know that's right.Then set it like that later & see if it wakes the neighbours.

If that doesn't work move before you get an asbo!
