After battling through some of the most TVR unfriendly weather, It would be reassuring to know all the BBWF boys returned home safely.

We arrived at Katie's sisters this afternoon, the big leg to Aberdeen tomorrow but afraid to say the drying out starts tomorrow, more alcohol flowing already. Great to meet all of you guys/girls some for the first time and some from previous meets but an excellent weekend, banter and the discovery that Elvis is alive and kicking driving a wedge.
Thanks to all the organisers that made a great and memorable event.
Cheers

Just to say thanks
to Dave and Gavin for the company during the rather wet run in to the fest!! (plus the 400 SE that joined us!) Made my way back home fine and ran back into the weather so got it both ways!! Car ran faultlessly even in the 1 1/2 hour traffic jam at Dartford crossing! Thanks to all for the event even though the weather tried to put the mockers on it!

Got back at 0150 on Sunday, no rain, clear run.
Mind I almost didn't make it: kept dozing off until finally I snapped awake as the car (at 80mph on cruise control) drifted into a layby where there was a parked tanker. I swerved and missed it by about 5 feet
Kept me wide awake for the last 30 miles, I can tell you...

Home safe after a stop at leicester an thirsk for fish n chips. Lashed down most of the way. Car is now leaning on one side my steering boot is knakered my bonnet has decided to turn itself into a spotty mess due to leaving rain on a hot bonnet and they won't come off. Happened before and had to T cut the whole bonnet and took 3 hours sigh. I blame all this on being less than 50 feet away from zigas devil car. Thanks to Andy Adam the jocks and all the new freinds I made. Elvis wedge was absoloutly superb. Oh aye rusty nail has now left the building. Ya bas**rds.

Aye, similar experience for me too concerning an A5 which seemed to want to go through me on the A14, rather than wait for me to pull over. Anyway, I pulled over for him but he couldn't then keep up for some reason................ And.....better luck next time Mr d
