Just wondering what people are paying for their water bills. I live on my own, work regular hours, and would describe my water usage as minimal. My bill is roughly £1 a day.

Is this the norm?

PS. Is it worth us having a thread to keep tabs on the best rates available from a variety of suppliers of services?

Not sure what mine are but would guess at about £150'ish(on meter). I suggest you ask your water provider to install a meter.

I paid £17 a month for ages with a water meter ( Anglia region) - has increased to £19 this year. Way back ( before water meters) when it was water rates was over £25/month.

The price varies depending on what part of the country/water authority one resides in/under. Mate of mine lives in Clacton which is one of the more expensive areas, yet think their bill is not a great deal more than mine. Perhaps you should ask your provider to check your meter.
