Evening chaps,
Was just wondering if anyone on here had any experience of living with an Arktis and/or could comment on the overall quality/finish compared to say a Breitling SuperOcean?
Not seen in the metal just yet, but the versions on leather straps look great in the images I've seen of them - just keen to pick collective experience before deciding whether it's worth the trek to go and see one.
Cheers,
LT

I love mine on leather......

Or steel....

its of a similar size (a little taller) to my Seadweller and wears similarly if a bit heavier. I've had it since 2006 and had it engraved on the back at the factory prior to delivery (via Chronomaster) as for fit and finish....it's a very solid watch, the blue face is just stunning. Overall not quite rolex quality but not far off.....a lot of watch for your money. Sinn factory well worth a visit if you're in the area too.

Thanks chaps - and nice pics Mark!
Good to hear positive things vs Rolex - just hoping I don't have the same disappointment as with the Daytona I went to look at (loved the pics but just didn't do it for me when I put it on).
Anyway, back to the Sinn, Out of interest:
1) How scratch resistant are they? Some SS watches seem to scratch very easily, others hardly at all...
2) Have either of you had them serviced yet? If so, would be interested in knowing about that side of things too (cost/turnaround).
Thanks again for the input.

Loony - thanks re the pics. Like has been said they don't seem to scratch any worse than any other watch. The crystal is AR coated on both sides so can mark on the outside.....but can be polished out again.
Likewise I've not had mine serviced yet as the clever indicator on the side is still white and not blue.....so according to Sinn it doesn't need servicing yet.
