50% Flame Thrower!

Hello All.

So, I've enjoyed Cerbera ownership for over 7 months now. I'm by no means fully competant with the car and every drive teaches me something new. I do however feel a little more comfortable with general car handling. Anyway, this has allowed me to start pushing myself, and indeed the car a little. I've discovered a fairly deft ability to feather the throttle to coax some impressive pops and bangs from the exhaust, and I'm told I can get quite impressive flames - but only from the passenger side pipe!

The car is a 4.2 AJP V8, stripped out and re-welded cats (effectively de-catted), running great, smooth as silk, good pressures and temps.

Should I be worried about this? Do I need to get the throttles ballanced? Am I missing something?

could be something as simple as a dribbling injector and or an air leak after the butterfly on that bank.

Do you mean on the flamin' side, or the non-flamin' side?

P.S. You are the only other person I've found with a grey pearl Cerb!!!! What interior colour and spec does yours have?

Flaming side,

Interior is 'wedgewood blue' leather but looks like grey to me, the carpets are grey and it has that horrible checky material headlining and door inserts that I threaten to change every year .

Is yours highland grey pearl paint too then, I've never seen another Cerb in it, has a gold fleck to it in the sun and can in some lights go from silver to black.

As for the paint, it's described in the owners book as "pearl grey", but looks just like the pic on your profile and your description is accurate too. I beat PH'er Sweeper to buying mine and he said he'd been looking for one in that colour and hadn't been successful. I've never seen, or heard of another Cerb in that colour, until this evening. Mines got a light/tan interior which I think complements the exterior colour very well.
