Performance and Supercar Rides at GTM, Wed 20th July

It's that time of year again when Grampian Transport Museum run their Performance and Supercar rides event at their track in Alford.

As well as needing people to turn up and get rides around the track (forecast is looking dry all day), they would also like a few more drivers who would be keen to give passenger rides around the track in their car.

As well as getting a free lunch, you also get a £35 voucher towards your fuel costs for the afternoon.

It's a great day out for the whole family.

great pity as would love to take folk round in the Tiger but can't get off work.

It would be good if they published a list of cars that are attending or expected to attend the day on the GTM website.

It would, think we will be there anyway but the girlfriend does have a penchant for GTR's.

Had a great day today! 1st time on track and everyone was thankful and enjoyed the passenger laps!

I do need to start thinking about new tyres now though!

Yip, it was great fun. Even after an oil breather pipe came off, soaked my blow-off valve and sent a mist of oil out of my bonnet vents every time I came off boost!

Bet my tires are more expensive that the GTR's!

Was the TVR OK? Thought I heard a marshall say it was dropping oil?

It seems that I have another further mod to do on my car to avoid the oil coming out of the blow-off valve issue again! Never ending!!!

I was hoping to get out to take photos, but couldn't make it due to some other stuff.

The final one of these for the year is on THursday 4th August, so I'll try to get out for that one. I understand GTM are still looking for more vounteer drivers for this date as well.
