Abandoned Car - 1930s - 1940s thing.

Dog ran off yesterday into the woods to chase a rabbit, as I stumbled through the brambles, nettles and other wood like stuff I came across an old car, I mean really old. There is the remains of chassis and half of the body work and parts of the interior. It looks like some kind of 1930 - 1940s type thing. Its been there for years (at least 40) according to some of the older locals. Could someone just pick it up and try to restore it or would you need to trace the owner?

Is it on private property ? The landowner would be a good place to start as it may well belong to them .

I'll see if I can get a pic of it tonight. The back seat of which there is about 90% of left is stuffed with straw in the inside.

As far as I am aware the land is owned by the local farmer.
