Dimma kitted 205's in ML6 area
Discussion
I know the bodykits aren't everybodies cup of tea but I have fond memories of them from when I was younger as a spotty teenager in the 90's.
Just recently i have spotted 2 different kitted cars, one a yellow one and one a white one all within a stones throw from my house.
Both been spotted around the Airdrie area.....anybody on here? or know who they belong to??

I remeber a very nice 205 from glasgow. Rab something was the owner. It wasn't kitted but was the 1st i'd seen with the mi16 engine and the 309 front bumper. I think the guy went on to work for peugeot ecosse.

I ran about with Rab in those days - he had a white 205 which was his 1st Mi16 conversion which he sold to "Gordon Autoparts" - he then went on and did the same conversion on a graphite 205. He also had a concours 306 with the 1st set of 17" alloys anyone in the area had ever seen.In those days 15" was the biggest around. Ahhhhh those were the days.Johnny
Before the white 205 Rab had a 205 diesel ( what a step up diesel to an Mi16 ) and before that he had an Orion which he managed to put on its roof. What makes this story unforgettable was the fact that when the police and ambulance arrived someone appeared out of the boot :-\ Plod wasnt too pleased lol .
All the little barstewards want to come on the runs, I'm trying to stop them. Idiots in Subaru's, Fiestas and Pug 307's etc trying to keep up with us is a recipe for disaster. I've seen the way they drive round Tesco car park. I'll see if Ross is out in it one night, he would bring it down. I make sure Ross leaves his car in the drive when they go out a run. One of them has a garage in Holytown, KR Tuning? I've heard him mention? Got me good discount from Meerkat exhausts when I mentioned his name though.

Rab Elliot was his name i believe, Jeez its been a long time since i seen him
I used to work with his wife in Glasgow. The good weather must be bringing out all these cars, on the M6 at the weekend a Dimma 205 past me heading south. Spied a white one later that day on the M74 too.
Hi all Rab E here
felt like I had died reading some of that. Pugfest (Peugeot sport club UK meet) was at the weekend past down south so thats where you would have seen the 205,s going.
I have a mint 205 CTI (Just won concours at Pugfest and best standard car at FCS), a 405 MI 16x4, a 205 1.6 GTI grass track car (stock hatch class) and a 206 D Turbo SW HDI. After a few years of doing 4x4 winch challange events up and down the UK now starting to get back into the car shows again and also grass track racing.
Cheers Rab E.

You ever hear of Brian Robb these days, he use to own the other Williams Dimma Clio and I think later the red 306 Dimma convertible? He use to stay in Tillicoultry or Dollar.
Good to see your well,
