Deliberate squirters .... .. . ............. ..

This about drivers infront of me, on the road or on the motorway, wash wiping their screens on a clear and sunny day, just because I have my roof off, tends not to happen when roof is up or when I'm in my van, it's especially obvious when the passenger is looking behind or in the near side mirror to see my reaction.

I'm fully aware that not all drivers do it deliberately, and that flies and ste need to be removed but there are some who take pleasure in it! I don't react to it as this is what they want.

What would do? Keep the roof on? What device would install to retaliate.

The only reason I've soaked rag tops is because they're 2 feet from my bumper.

Some people seem to have a couple of firehoses pointed at their windscreens judging by the amount of spray coming off their cars.

I don't mind, my washers are terrible.

Do you mean, in traffic jam? on the motorway over taking? yes I keep a safe distance, some washers don't even touch the screen!

Get a washer bottle and motor and fill it with brake fluid.Fix a pipe out somewhere on the left of your car and as you overtake them, give it a squirt along the side of their car and give them a friendly wave.

Where can I buy one? Only kidding, it happens to all I'm sure of it, wish I could return the favour but in a nice way without danger to them.

I think there is a chapter in the owners handbook dedicated to tall tales

I get this when I'm on the bike every so often.
As an all year/all weather biker, trust me - your windscreen washers are the least of my worries

I had some mong in an old Isuzu of some description tailgaiting me through the villages when I'm doing the speed limit, then pull off a stunningly dangerous overtake round a long blind right hander to cut infront of me so he could try to squirt me with his windscreen washers. Then when that failed his passenger was leaning out of the window trying to squirt me with a Fruit Shoot bottle (or similar). I can only hope it contained Fruit Shoot and not anything else. I dropped back and let him get on with it, he got bored and "zoomed" after the next two convertibles. This was after the Newark Kit Car show so there were a number of sports cars around (all obeying the NSL)

Before anyone claims that all this is somehow my fault, I had my 9 year old daughter in the car with me so there was no way I was going to drive like a prat. The only reason I can arrive at was that they were chavs.
