Now this was years ago..& may be a figment of my imagination??

I remember When Chris Evans was hosting 'The Big Breakfast' on ch 4, they were messing around with a box of electrickery fitted into a Mini (I think) which mimicked the sound of various great sounding engines. It mirrored your throttle foot & played through your cars speakers!

So, you would be driving your old Mini 1.0 but drop a gear & it would sound inside like a V12!

Ring a bell with anyone else, or just my ever shrinking brain imagining such things?
