dashboard lights

when i turn on the headlights, i have no lights on the dash, although the leds work between the dials and on the vent controls

i admit i used to run a 4.0 chimp (sorry) and it had a little switch under the dash to turn them off and on, i found there was one here too but... no good. still no lights.

is there an obvious reason ? a fuse ? a thing somewhere ? or is this another dash related cost.

I don't drive mine in the dark, so never had to worry.

Your radio, cig lighter, number plate lights and side lights should come on with the side light button only. If not, I would check the fuses, don't trust the TVR handbook, fuse panel diagrams were never accurate, pull each fuse one at a time to ensure you don't miss it. If fuses are good then the instrument light switch may have failed.

would take 2 sec to check and might not be the problem but the little black button to turn the dial lights on/off have you pulled it out and checked the wires are attached could have easily come adrift!
