After having had to leave the t350 out in last weekend's downpours the footwells, especially drivers side, are full of water. Dried out the mats but rest of carpet along sill and by the pedals is still soaked.

Any idea what is likely to be at fault? Door/window seal? It is a T but the roof seals are fine.

Most likely door seals. Do a search for images on how they should have dimples in the bottom of them to let water out.

For some reason, its always the drivers side that suffers from this much more than the passenger side, even if the dimples are there... can't work out why that is.

In mine, the water definitely gets in at the bottom front corner, sometimes its clear to see water is coming over the top of the seal, as the dimple is not doing its job as so water 'overflows'. Other times, it must be getting in underneath the seal somehow... I have noticed that the seals have tiny drain holes every 20/30 cm or so, so I'm wondering whether either the position of these, or, where the beginning and end of the seal joins, is the problem.

Mine join half way up the front of the door seal - same both sides. I've seen others that join on the bottom.... It seems to be very very much trial and error e=until fixed..

I had a similar issue in one of my old Sag's and it was the rear 3/4 window that needed re-bonding into the shell. Water was coming in dripping down the carpet behind the seats and filling up the footwell. Not happy times frown Made the car smell of sweaty feet.

I had an issue with water in the passenger footwell, caused all sorts of electrical problems. There should be a membrane between the door and the door panel, if the panel trim is wet at the bottom, take off the panel and check the membrane is sealed (in my case it was missing!!). If the door panels are dry then it will be as posted that the drain crimps are missing or that the seals need replacing, I replaced mine with ford focus ones from sealsdirect.co.uk ref ETS58. The drain crimps are quite simple to create just fold the seal back under itself when you are fitting it.

My drivers side was also leaking - had the seals and membrane changed - the membrane had come away and I think it was channeling water in rather than out.

All fine now - drove my T350 in the driving rain for about 5 hours on the motorway on Sunday and the inside stayed dry.

Hope you get it sorted soon - looks like a wet summer ;(

Either windscreen surround or the wiring loom which passes through the bulkhead/firewall from behind the dashpod to under the airbox.
