Had act decats fitted last week.
I do like but just checking if this is the norm! when in 3rd,4th or 5th putting the foot down then releasing - when the engines braking and just under 3000rpm the flipping cannon that goes off once or twice??
It is awesome but.. me and gfriend crap are selfs even when i know its coming! Also my harley loving neighbour is getting jealous.
Not exagerating here just want to know theres not a problem. it also seems to come mostly from the drivers side. Its like someones running up and kicking the car.

Precisely why I find myself invariably between 2500 and 3000 rpm, used to get it to a lesser extent pre de-cat but it certainly has gone up a notch

Do you have a standard exhaust system with de-cats?

I used to have that but found the noise quite raspy. I've since changed for a de-catted full big bore exhaust system.

She's now more civilised below 3k revs but once above 3k... all hell brakes loose I LOVE IT!

LOL makes me smile everytime, revs drop just below 3k followed by a crackle and pop.
