Hi all
Bought a tester pot of dodo supernatural and on instructions it states do not allow to cake or something similar (can't remember exactly in Corfu at present) what do they mean by cake, should I allow to cure and if so for how long?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Apply to a cool surface after using Lime Prime as a first stage prep. Do not wax in bright sunlight and leave the wax to cure for around an hour. Remove and then use a QD to remove any remaining marks.

Excellent advice from BA... 'caking' refers to the wax welding itself on (typically black panels on hot days) but Supernatural is not really prone to it. It is more prone to oil patching/holograms by having been removed prematurely and buffed when still 'wet'. As BA says, leave at least 40 mins before buffing after having applied to a cool panel (in the shade on a hot day). Then buff it twice to ensure it has been removed.

Lime Prime makes a good base, but you can use Autoglym SRP etc. Always polish before waxing. Then maintain with a pH neutral shampoo. Whilst the tight beading naturally diminishes after a couple of weeks, the wax layer will remain for 3-5 months on the paint until fully degraded by UV (sun) and wind/contaminant erosion.

PS the 30ml pot will do an average sized car about 3-4 times at least. 8ml per layer on average for a thinly applied paste wax.
