On the way home yesterday
Wasn't driving but was in the passenger seat and I was amazed at how many people when in downpours do not turn their lights on!
3 cars in the picture, and you can only see the one on the left.
It is just pointlessly dangerous, and the rain got a lot worse than this. I reckon only around 1 in 5 cars turned on their lights.
Is there a law for this? Something to do with visibility perhaps?

Well done; your thread seems to have brought out a record number of the hard-of-thinking!Edit to add some on-topicness: I agree, no lights in poor conditions is a pet hate of mine. And those people who never drive at twilight/night and therefore get confused when winter comes and end up either on full beam 100% of the time, or just don't bother.

Sometimes it's warranted, though I'll admit that's very rare. I'll tend to use them if I can't see the rear lights of other vehicles more than about 100m away. Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
