st 220 tickover problem

Hello all,I am hoping someone can throw some light on a problem i am having with my 2006 Mondeo St 220,After a run,( motorway speeds or a spirited drive)when i come to a stop the car will not tickover at less than 1100 revs,if i switch off the car and restart the engine idles fine,I have given the idle speed control valve a good clean is their anything else i should be looking at? Hi, Did you check your breather pipe, thats how mine started but then it just got worse as the hole in the pipe got bigger.
