Insurer that'll recognise classic no-claims
Discussion
I'm swapping out of classic cars for the first time in 10 years and wondered if anyone here has managed to get a conventional insurer to translate a no-claims history into a bonus.
You'd think it would be a no-brainer - I haven't binned a car, or claimed even once in that time, so therefore I should be good for a discount. But no - it seems insurers won't accept that and I'll be charged the same amount as someone who hasn't driven in 10 years.
Can anyone supply a name?
Thanks

hmmm, i think you'll find most classic car insurance is issued on the proviso you have another normal car/snotter to use every day, and as such classic car insurance does does not accrue no claims, as your snotter insurance does
thats not to say that a classic cant be insured to be used as your main car, but this generally wont be "classic car insurance" for the reasons listed above
