ive got to kit out our utility room with integrated washing machine and a freezer.

looking at these models because its been mentioned its worth spending more on the washing machine, we have a fridge/freezer in the kitchen but its more of a 70/30 split so we need a couple of extra trays for feezer space.

this is the washing machine that we were going for....

and the missus wants a frost free freezer which is this one, (shame as i can get a un-frost free for about £250!!!!)

just seen on the electrolux someone has asked the question whether it will accept a kitchen door, so perhaps that ones not integrated...

If it is in a utility room and out of sight, personally I'd avoid the hassle of integrated. Those are all okay - but you could get a much better non integrated machine for the same price. They make fewer of them, so they tend to carry a hefty premium.

unfortunately the utility room is off our dinning room so even though we could close the door internal door the utility room has a a full length door which will let some additional light into the room. So rather than staring at the appliances it was thought better to cover them up.

I like Siemens - like Bosch but a bit more exclusive and IMHO the designs are nicer.

I got the integrated WM ex-demo for £200!

I like all the AEG stuff we have got apart from the washing machine, which is st. I wouldn't bother with an integrated washing machine again. If you close the door all the time they can go mouldy so you end up leaving the washer door ajar so the cupboard door sticks out all the time.

i like the idea of a freestanding decent lookign washing machine (can get some nice looking ones now. Trying to convince the missus is a different thing altogher although saying that it would help on the budget front and also when i come to fit it.

I've got my eye on the new Samsung Bubble. How sad are we?!! (although as above, I really can't wait to get shot of the £850 AEG integrated pile of shat with it's small drum and crapper than crap wash ability).

My old Zanussi that I sold for £40 when we moved in was better!!

Well that's no good then - just something else to argue over when you split.

Better to buy a crap one so you don't give a toss if she gets it.

It used to be part of their promotion.

Many Mieles last 10-15 years - not bad for a white good. Can be reprogrammed as well by teh service engineer, if you ever see him... smile
