SAAB 93, 2.3 Viggen engine fitted with Hirsch stage 3 tune, Jetex exhaust, race cat, K+N ind kit, areo turbo inlet, Abbot racing hard pipe kit and dump valve, Forge intercooler, Koni suspension kit, semi poly bushed, 17" alloys painted black print out for 321 bhp and 400lb torque fantastic car to drive. Having a black wrap roof this week then just the private plate to go on and a leather interior when I can find a decent one.

Something doesn't add up spec wise 321bhp and 540 N·m with a stage 3 Hirsch ecu? hirsch stage 3 ecus are mapped for 280bhp/400nm. are you sure yo don't mean 400nm? The stock tdo4 has no chance of pumping enough air for 320bhp and 320bhp is well and truley past the safe limits of the stock bottom end on a viggen. even the maptun stage 5 doesn't make anywhere near that much torque 340 Hp / 480 Nm.
But if you have a rolling road print out that confirms it then i suggest your engines been fiddled with a little bit more than your realise
it wont be running a hirsch stage 3 ecu thats for sure, 321bhp with 540nm is very odd for that engine, maptun stage 6 only makes that much torque when its running at 420bhp. very interesting tho any engine bay pic's

My mistake it does say nm on the paperwork as for the rr printout the more I look at it the more it looks like a A4 page done at home. The car brokedown 2 weeks ago and when I bought it I was told certain stuff which I passed onto the garage who after plugging there laptop/machine into it told me the spec above, so with the help of the dealer and along with the receipts I have we came to the above spec and its a 2.3 viggen rather than the 2ltr I was told it was and the stage 3 spec Hirsch is on there not a stage 1 as I was told so its been a bit of a nightmare. I had a 300bhp cossie and this definately feels faster than that and this I believe is a heavier car but to be honest if it only had 100bhp I wouldnt swap it its great to drive nice and smooth but the extra horses definately make it more fun. The torque steer is immense and when we came home from picking it up I floored it down the slip road and I admit I couldnt control it as it snaked down the road untill we went up the embankment back down and across 2 lanes of the motorway it finally went straight the other half wasnt happy as it put her neck out and gave me survere ear ache for days. When the show seasons finish I shall get it on a rolling road myself and see what the figures really are. Is anyone going to the German car show at Beaulieu this weekend weve got a trade stand there, if you are come and say hello I`ll be the FABRAT.com stand doing T shirt printing.
Not my old car then
Looks like this was though!
I miss that thing!
Mental torque steer and power understeer.

The Viggens all came with full leccy leather sports seats. Is this an S with an engine swap?
