REALLY big r/c yachts, can it be done?
Discussion
This weekend I'll be picking up the world's daftest eBay purchase, a couple of Open 60 test tank hulls (believed to be Ecover and Tenemos), both just under 9' long.
One of them is destined to become a plant pot in my garden, the other I'm not sure about. I was thinking about a teeny weeny scale open 60 along the lines of a 2.4mr but I don't think there's enough bouyancy to support a person, so I was wondering, how hard would it be to rig up some kind of r/c system, perhaps powered by car batteries, that could deal with those kind of loads?
