Halfords Cycle to work scheme

Does anyone know of any shops in Surrey (other than Halfords!) that except Halfords cycle to work vouchers?

I know Halfords will order other brands of bike in for you, but I'd much rather give my business to a local indie.

Anyone within 10 - 15 miles of Kingston / Epsom would be fine.

Sadly you're stuck with Halfords. The name of the scheme rather gives it away!

If you want to use an indie, you'll have to persuade your employer to use Cyclescheme.

You would think so but I've heard that's not actually the case. I'm certain I've had a conversation with someone who told me they had used a Halfords voucher at an indie shop. If only I could remember who they were!

The terms and conditions on their website certainly stress that you have to go to Halfords.

a quick trawl sugegsts that people have had joy at alpine bikes, freedom bikes (brighton), pearson and leisure lakes

Leisure lakes can take them, or at least could when I bought mine 6 months ago.

Dolan can also be requested, I went for the mythos and I'm happy with it so far, if you want a roadie that is.
