2007 VW Polo Service light reset

Can anybody tell me how to reset a VW Polo service light (2007) it has just the single button on the clocks (the one you can turn clock and anticlockwise) I can't remember how to do it on these?

I think you may need to find someone in your area with vag.com / VCDS, my 2001 A2 can't be reset without it

If your car is set to long-life aka variable servicing it's a dealer or VCDS only re-set.

The method I posted is for the fixed servicing regime.
