5/6 June - Historic Tribute Meeting:

The programme for this BRDC / HSCC / VSCC Race meeting includes:

FORCE Formula 1, Group 4 Historic Sports Cars, BRDC 50s Sports Cars, Pre-war Grand Prix Cars, Pre-war Sports Cars, Derek Bell Trophy, Classic F3, Historic Formula Jr, Historic FFord, Classic Racing Cars, HGPCA Drum Brake Sports Cars, Historic Racing Saloons plus support races.

Anyone going?

10 of us from the viperclub, on Sat and a few there on Sun, pop over and say hello. Parked next to the Ferrari's and Lambo's

Should be there lunchtime Sunday. Must get some ideas from the Vipers on how to fit external exhausts on my Chim.

So was I ... good racing, some gorgeous cars but the seeming lack of any organisation and the nine mile hike from the public car parks took the gloss off a bit.

Agreed - in particular the marshalling in the carpark was poor - they shut the exit just as I got to the gate and told me to use another exit...that was not signposted (dohh!).
I assume that the position of the new carparks will come clear when the startline is repositioned (I think) between Club & Bridge.

When I've gone to VSCC meetings in the past we have been parked just behind the paddock diner. I was very pissed off to find that car park nearly empty on the Sunday. What was wrong with parking there?
