Heard this is an old fashioned Celtic and British delicacy also it is a spiritual event.

Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall did it on one of his early Channel 4 cooking programmes.

I can understand why women in the dark ages did it being malnourished and all but not nowadays and especially not someone else's like Hugh!

Certainly, I liked it when my Italian friend cooked it for me. I was tempted to buy some myself the other day. And as for polenta...
