Well just a week to go before I load up and take my 3 young 'uns to North Cornwall for 2 weeks of camping. Apart from an one night test at Easter this will be a first for all of us.

What will ruin it will be the good old British weather and it's not looking good according to most of the weather websites I have looked at frown

Beginning to wish that I had put all the money spent on camping gear towards an all inclusive in Spain or the Canaries.

I tend to work outdoors in the "Summer" and this year I have been soaked every time so the idea of a holiday spent in the same conditions with the added problems of having to keep the children fed, entertained, safe etc is making me dread the whole experience.

Moan over, as you were.

Just go by what the kids want to do. On our last trip last summer, it began to rain when we were putting the tent up. Three nights of rain with thunder and lightening thrown in, which was a weird experience. We were ready to come home early doors, but stayed on as the kids wanted to, they were having a good time regardless.

Don't get me started on the weather,so far this, season has been a wash out.All the locals are pannicking and praying the weather perks up from Sunday.
On a side note, all of FRance has had crap weather,Spain and Italy have been baking in high 30 to low 40 degrees.
Overall I think the weather every where has been changeable to say the least.
