Does anyone know where I can get the weatherstrip that is glued to the top of the door to seal the windows.
Cheers,

Try contacting Marshall Moore on Saturday or Sunday (540) 400-8310 or cmw-tvr@cox.net.

If he has none, then I'd suggest contacting David Gerald (http://www.davidgeraldtvr.com)

or

Can I assume that some models didn't have a rubber or brush type weather strip against the Windows cos my 1988 350 hasnt, its just a Chrome strip.

I got what Marshall could get about a year ago. It isn't original but works and looks okay I guess. It is basically something like this. I think it might be a bit thicker than a 1/8 of an inch but you get the point.

You can.
The early FHC had a length of steel angle along the door top (it tied the front and rear uprights of the glass channel together)... there was a particular rubber/felt seal fitted INSIDE the door, near the top, that I suppose was intended to wipe the glass clean as you lowered it - but on my Tas even when I fitted a new seal it missed the glass by a few millimetres anyway rolleyes

My 390 has a finishing strip glued along the door top edge that sounds like yours although mine has long since ceased to have a chrome finish! biggrin
I think its only purpose is to hide the butchered edge of fibreglass.

I have heard of people gluing-on a 'proper' rubber blade-type trim that keeps the draught and rain out and sweeps the glass clean but I don't know that it was ever a factory fitment.
