2 Watches (as presents) this year!
Discussion
I've never really known much about watches to be honest, always liked them but never really got involved with the specs or knowing what's what but this year i have to say i've been pretty lucky, i got this from my Wife for Christmas:

It's virtually identical but with some red detailing on the side...
Really happy with it, maybe a tad on the large size but it's so far so good but yesterday i was lucky enough to get this after working here for 10 years:

Omega Seamaster MX7806
I am so pleased but also a tad reluctant to wear it! I've not taken it out of the box yet but it really does look good, i'm looking forward to getting it adjusted as i'm sure it'll need a couple of links taken out.
Is there anything i should or shouldn't do with it to make sure it stays nice? I figured it's actually probably best to wear it daily (other then when working on cars etc) to keep it going? I would like to think they're built to last :-)
Just wanted to share it with someone anyway, and if the experts can give me any advice it would be appreciated!

I have the second watch you posted, only bought recently. The co-axial movement is supposed to be good, I have noticed people mention that the clasp marks easily and this is true, mine has picked up a very fine mark since my ownership. Not the end of the world mind.
It's possible to hand wind the movement if you wish and you're not wearing it often and wish to keep it wound. but letting it run down and hand winding to start it again should not be a problem for the watch.
consult the manual for other operating instructions as you shouldn't quick set the date between the hours of something like 8 & 10 (don't quote me on those figures, they're in the manual)
Both nice watches, wish I got one for 10 years in my job!
