I have noticed this week how much better I sleep without it (due mainly to there being no handy coffee machine near our unit) - been really tired come 10.30 and sleep solidly till the alarm at 5.30 - had one cup of Norwegian turbo coffee last night, slept much worse and definatley feel more tired today.
When back onshore I will probably fall into my old 5+ cup a day routine - if nothing else I really love the smell and taste of a cup of coffee.

I used to be an 8 mug per day coffee drinker and always found it a relaxing drink. Never had sleeping issues.
However, I had a sinus infection which made coffee taste awful and I haven't been able to drink it since. I have found no change in sleeping patterns etc, I just really miss that nice first coffee of the day.
