Due to personal circumstances I have sold my V8S.
I just watched Rob drive away in it

I will say what a nice guy he is and I'm pretty sure he will soon be on the forums, he wants to do the maintenance himself as much as he can so I told him what a great forum this is.

Rob is gizzardio I'm sure a PM welcome or two would be good.

I do still intend to be around and will come along to TVR events

After all your troubles and the hard work on the car I just can't believe you find yourself in this position. You will be missed if you leave the forums so I just hope you stay around to help the rest of us. Hopefully this will be short break from S ownership and we'll see you back in due course.

Chris I have never met you but your advice and guidance to myself via this forum has been invaluable. I have just announced to the Mrs that you have sold your car and have explained that you are one of the long standing members and that your car has gone through some major overhaul involving blood, sweat and tears etc. Truly shocked its gone but accept it won't of been an easy decision for you. Hope things pick up on a personal front for you and you are able to return to the fold.. Best of Luck Damon

Chris, really sorry to hear you've had to sell your S.

Like others have mentioned your experience and expertise has helped may of us on this forum (your rebuild gave me courage to work far more on my car than I imagined I would be able to).

Selfishly I'd ask you not to be a stranger as your knowledge of our cars is extensive and we all need advice from time to time.

I'm sure that you will be back in due course and I wish you well.

I'm sorry to hear you've sold the S Chris as I remember the trials and tribulations from a while ago and had hoped it was all behind you now. Your contributions on here are excellent and will have helped many others as testified by the responses above so I hope that will continue and that you manage to get another Tiv before too long - in the meantime all the best for the probable new venture.
