Don't even point at this thread unless you like Baroque
Discussion
As some here know, I decided to spend some cash writing / recording some music for myself for a change (I spend my working life composing for others). My project included various jazz, film stuff and some Baroque.
I spent my yoof singing in churches to the likes of Bach and Handel, and no matter how much music I listen to, their music still remains the most impressive I have ever heard. (Historical context is important here - they WROTE the rule book!)
So here.. a (dodgy) StudioCam vid of my (one and only) attempt to write some Counterpoint. Writing this stuff is like playing a video FPS. If you take a wrong turning, you are in BIG trouble... there will always be a monster at the end of the route you are on. You have to plan well ahead. A great and very rewarding game to play though.
