Foot Long Branch Hits my Wedge Lucky/Unlucky ?

Lucky or unlucky, Lucky I think
OK, So the car has not had a clean since BBWF and the Drivers window was still stuck in the door with the bit the window normaly sits in, rattling around in the bottom of the door.
So got up this morning and instead of sorting the above I take the wedge on a 20 mile drive to pick up my Shotgun which was in the gunshop being fixed as it would not go bang!
There I was on the way home going about 50 along a nice straight road with a few trees on the side of the road and as I got near a tree a bit of a branch about a foot long, just fell off the tree into the road right in front of me, no chance to do anything as cars coming in other direction, I hit it, or it hit the road and bounced up, Crack bang etc and yep went over it as saw bits of it in the mirror.
I Pull over and did not like the walk from the door to the front of the car, thinking things like spoiler smashed, paint messed up etc etc.
Got to front, and paint and spoiler OK, I was so happy, then saw the impact point N/S front indicator cover, bits missing and smashed to bits! but bulbs etc intact and not a mark on the paintwork.
Lucky/unlucky?
The really lucky part is have a dig in the big box of bits we all keep and finding the brand new covers still in the original boxes I bought on ebay a few years ago, had to change both as changing one just showed up how faded the other was!
And now to take the door trim off and sort the window and glue back all the door seals which also near enough fell off at BBWF, by the way that was good.

How can you sue a tree?..It was probably thrown at you by a wood pigeon that you shot at and missed last weekend..
The pigeon's me and the mrs shoot are not made of wood only Clay 
As I dont know which tree was responsible yep might shoot any old tree tomorrow,
the window is back in, have to see if it works tomorrow and glued all the door seals back in, the doors shut better now.
Perhaps the wood pigeon was in a nearby tree and saw you shooting at a simulated pigeon and thought right ill have him..Me and a friend years ago used to go shooting with his dad and after we finished trapping we were given a 4/10 each and a box of cartridges between us..We used to find small logs of wood and take turns in throwing it in the air and blasting it...Then we would go up to it and blast it on the floor..Good fun but i wouldnt try it with anything over a 4/10..Ziga
