It only needs Pete Docherty to OD now to make it a perfect weekend for a 'Less Waste of Oxygen' campaign.

Amy Winehouse might have been as sick-minded as me, but she knew where to draw the line.In hindsight, the coffee table was probably a poor choice.

You would really put Amy in the same class of artist as Kurt and Jimi Hendrix?

She was over-rated, and had it not been for her drug problems would have been long forgotten now. As it was her personal life sold as many records as her voice. Her stage shows were a disgrace when she was drunk or on drugs, and she only ever had 3 hits off one album.

Sorry, as much as I love music and can appreciate her talent, she had every opportunity to come off the drink and drugs and chose not to. Not someone I will mourn.

Sort it out guys, this is the music forum! I'm no great fan, but some great music. What a shame.

Great talent, very sad but mourn 85 Norwegians more as they did nothing to invite death

I would imagine thats more a reference to the 27 Club rather than a direct comparison of talent

Personally, I love the B2B album, whatever her issues its awful to see anyone pass on at such a very young age
