I know it's an old one but has anyone found a permanent solution to this yet ? Sorting out the drop from my drive to the road is not an option. Could no more nails and a suitable material be the answer ?
Discuss...Preferably let me know as well.

No answers, though I have wondered in an idle moment if you could re-profile the spoiler lip, raise the middle section to clear most of the obstacles and also give it a slightly more modern look. Mine will need painting at some point (again)...

Mac - Not measured it. I'll do it tomorrow. Seems to be a real problem on my car. The handling is magnificent though and I do like the low look from the front. Never had a problem with the Cerb.
Damian - bit drastic for me I think but an interesting idea.

Tried fitting a Str8Six scuff plate?

That's what I've done. It doesn't stop the scraping, but at least it scrapes something that is made to be scraped... Easy to fit and then just give it a lick of black paint.

Don't know if the Sag one fits the Tam though...

I have recently noticed the same with my Tam I suspect tired front shocks, if not the front can be raised slightly as mentioned.

Steven,
Tired springs rather than shocks would be the issue. A Tam correctly set up with the later factory ride heights should not cause a ground clearance problem other than in execptional circumstance.

A Tam dropped on the floor to improve handling is alaways going to have clearnce issues, same as any other car - so it's not a Tamora issue as such. wink

Cheers Alex.

John. I suppose it may have had something aftermarket fitted. I'll check when I get the front wheels off to Tetraseal the arches. Cheers.

I've just measured the clearence and it 3.5 inches exactly. Be interested to know how that compares with others smile

The scuff plate is only made for the Sag thus far.

I've enquired about one for my T350, Jason said they are looking to produce them for the T350 too. If there's enough interest in the Tams then I'm sure he'll produce them too.

Do you really want/need one? I've only scuffed mine one the very underneath part, which is invisible unless you're laying under the front of the car. I saw one of these plates on a Sagaris at Sr8Six and it looked out of place, even if it were painted body colour.

It's piece of mind really. I have loads of speed bumps round me and some are very high. I literally can't go over any faster than 5mph otherwise you can hear the scrape.

Id rather than than damage the fibreglass.

Just to reiterate, my ground clearence there is 3.5 inches. How does that compare with other Tamoras ? (or indeed other T's)

Thanks Getsis. So you have about an extra inch there. Probably need to see what's going on in the shock\spring department, though I'm not aware of any modifications.
